2nd day of work: things are a lot easier now that i have had a basic grasp of the product information/company/my colleagues, so talking to potential buyers is becoming more of a breeze :D and i really like the part about connecting with people on a more intimate level through conversation and body language; it's quite accomplishing being able to relate to someone after a mere 10 min conversation (:
anyway, the professor and i were speaking about his awesome tourist experience in singapore hitherto and apparently, get this, he jogs from his hotel to mount faber and back (approx 7km) every morning under 40 minutes. talk about getting maximum exercise while vacationing! and he's like, 52 o.o hahaha omg. he's also quite an active marathon runner, which explains why he's so into biomedical research for natural preservatives and all the whatchamacallits for organic products. he makes me feel so damn unhealthy laaaaa.
oh and he wants to introduce his 19 year old son, who's more handsome than bae young jun and the hot korean stars of the like (as he so helpfully informs me), to me HAHAHAHAHA.
a lot more interesting anecdotes but i'm just lazy to post them all here. it'll probably sound much funnier if i say it personally anyway xD
another thing, i keep getting mistaken for being korean LOL. it's quite amusing observing the crestfallen faces of korean exhibitors approaching me with a slew of garbled korean, only to receive my embarrassed smile and a 'sorry i don't speak korean' in return hahaha.
last dayy tmr! then lunch w my colleagues thereafter (: haha any good food places to recommend?
