memory palace

The method of loci, or memory palace as others call it, is a general designation for mnemonic techniques that rely upon memorized spatial relationships to establish, order and recollect memorial content. In this technique the subject memorizes the layout of some building, or the arrangement of shops on a street, or any geographical entity which is composed of a number of discrete loci. When desiring to remember a set of items the subject literally 'walks' through these loci and commits an item to each one by forming an image between the item and any distinguishing feature of that locus. Retrieval of items is achieved by 'walking' through the loci, allowing the latter to activate the desired items.

AWESOMENESS...

well french oral wasn't that bad just now, pas mal. the examiner was really quite nice although when i panic the number of grammer mistakes i make is really horrendous, i think :\

anw val asked me about my '3 must-haves, and 1 good-to-have' in a guy the other day. quite interesting actually and it really got me thinking. hmm i guess it's hard for me to narrow down the list of qualities (not that i have very high expectations...) but for whoever's interested:

3 must-haves:
make me feel comfortable in my own skin
sensitive character
matured thinking

1 good-to-have:
sense of humour!

hahaha ok i'm going to ask all my friends from now on ^^
