the curious incident of the dog in night-time

i skipped hw102 lecture today to have lunch at ishi mura alone because i was in a sit-in-a-quiet-spot-and-read-a-book kind of mood. the place turned out to be a lot more crowded then i expected but it was alright because i was reading The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time and it was nice reading about an autistic kid when you're in an autistic mood yourself. but the book was more than just that; the kid (Christopher) was the narrator for the entire story so viewing the world through his perspective was really poignant. and i found emotional resonance in C's words when he talked about how the world was too complex and irrational for his comprehension, how he wishes he was an astronaut in outer space so he didn't have to interact with another human being, and how he hurts because people always lie they never mean what they say.

i'm feeling terribly weary today.
